TERMS &
CONDITIONS

Last updated: October 2026 · South Africa (strapzysshinnies.com)

These terms apply when you buy from strapzysshinnies.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

1. Who we are

Strapzy's Shinnies is a South African business (not a registered company) run by Bryn Deeley and Liam Robinson. We make custom carbon fibre shin pads, grip socks and Boot ID transfers.

Strapzy's Shinnies

Address: 6th Avenue, Edenvale, 1609, Johannesburg, South Africa

Email: bryn@strapzysshinnies.com

Phone / WhatsApp: 076 762 7935

Website: strapzysshinnies.com

We are not registered for VAT, so our prices do not include VAT and our invoices show no VAT.

2. Products and your design

Our shin pads and Boot ID transfers are made to order, using the design, name, number, flag and images you give us. You design your shin pads in our 3D studio and see them before you order — please check spelling, numbers, colours and artwork carefully, because we make them exactly as submitted.

Colours on screen can look slightly different from the printed product, and the 3D preview is a close guide rather than an exact photograph.

You must own, or have permission to use, any image, logo or club badge you upload. We may refuse designs that are offensive, unlawful or that infringe someone else's rights.

For club orders, we send a design for your approval before we make anything. Production starts only once you approve it.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African rand (ZAR). The price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order, including any bundle saving or discount code, plus delivery. If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we will contact you before making your order and you can cancel for a full refund.

Payments are processed by PayFast. You pay on PayFast's secure page — we never see or store your card details. Your order is confirmed once PayFast confirms the payment, and we email you a confirmation and an invoice.

Discount codes are for one order each, can't be exchanged for cash and can't be combined unless we say so. FIRST10 is for your first order only.

4. Delivery

We deliver in South Africa only, with Pudo — to a Pudo locker you choose or to your door. The delivery price is shown at checkout. Made-to-order items usually take 7–10 working days from order to delivery; grip socks are usually dispatched within 2 working days. These are estimates, not guarantees.

We email your Pudo waybill number when your order ships. Pudo lockers hold parcels for a limited time — please collect promptly. If a parcel is returned to us because it wasn't collected or the address was wrong, we can resend it at the delivery cost.

5. Cancelling an order

You can cancel free of charge before production starts — contact us as soon as possible. Once we have started making a custom item it can't be cancelled, because it is made specifically for you.

Under the ECT Act you may cancel within 7 days of delivery for goods bought online, but this does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as custom shin pads and Boot ID transfers. It does apply to unopened grip socks.

6. Returns, faults and refunds

If an item arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of receiving it and we will repair, replace or refund it. Your rights to return goods with a defect under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected. Full details are in our Returns & Refund Policy.

Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 7–14 business days after we have received and checked the item.

7. Your information

We use your details only to make and deliver your order, keep you updated and keep our accounts. How we collect, use and protect personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, in line with POPIA.

8. Using our website

Please don't misuse the site — for example by trying to break into it, overload it or copy it. The site's content, product designs and our logo belong to Strapzy's Shinnies; designs you create stay yours, and you give us permission to use them to make your order (and, if you agree, to show them as examples of our work).

We try to keep the site accurate and available but can't promise it will always be error-free or online. We are not responsible for websites we link to.

9. Our responsibility

We are responsible for supplying products as described and of good quality. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, or for products used in a way they were not made for. Shin pads reduce, but cannot remove, the risk of injury. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law says we cannot limit.

10. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first — we usually reply within 24 hours and will try to put it right. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za). These terms are governed by South African law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
